Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Health on Wednesday announced that fully vaccinated travellers who are arriving from overseas are not required to undergo 14 days quarantine if their on-arrival PCR is tested negative.
However, arriving travellers will have to stay in a government-observed hotel for one day until the test results are released. If the tests come negative, the citizens will be free to leave for their homes/residents while tourists will be able to proceed with their travel plans. Those who have received the recommended full doses of COVID-19 vaccines, should to carry their vaccination cards/certificates in addition to a negative result of a Coronavirus test done within 72 hours prior to embarkation, when they arrive in Sri Lanka.More Related News
