Parents don’t want their daughters to be “a Karen.”
The name — which has become a pejorative term for an entitled or racist white woman— plunged in popularity over the past year, according to new Social Security Administration data. Karen fell 171 spots on a list of most common newborn baby names for girls from number 660 to 831, according to figures first reported by the Huffington Post.
