Southwest Monsoon Likely To Be Normal: Weather Office

The India Meteorological Departmentsaid that normal to above normal rainfall is expected in areas in the northern peninsula and central India.

The southwest monsoon is going to bring normal rainfall this year, the weather office has said in its forecast. 

The India Meteorological Department said that normal to above normal rainfall is expected in areas in the northern peninsula and central India. Below normal rainfall is likely over many parts of Northeast india, some parts of Northwest India and southern parts of the south peninsula, it added.
