South Africa skipper Temba Bavuma has pleaded guilty for the offence that was levelled by the match officials as the hosts were one over short of the target after time allowances were taken into consideration.
Temba Bavuma-led South Africa were fined 20 per cent of their match fee for maintaining a slow over-rate against Pakistan in their first ODI held on Friday. In the last-ball thriller in the first ODI, Pakistan beat the hosts by 3 wickets to go 1-0 up in the three-match series. But according to match officials, the hosts were one over short of the target after time allowances were taken into consideration, and therefore the penalty was imposed on the hosts.More Related News
