Sonia Sotomayor: Justices think about how they 'comport' themselves amid public's worsening view of high court

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor said Tuesday that she and her fellow justices all think about how to "comport" themselves to try to ensure public confidence as Americans' view of the high court has worsened in recent months.
"I think all of us worry about that. We think about ways in which we can comport ourselves, among ourselves, to ensure that the public has confidence in what we're doing," Sotomayor, one of the court's liberal members, told NBC News in response to a question about recent polling showing a decline in the public's trust of the court.

The two men killed as they floated holding onto their capsized boat in a secondary strike against a suspected drug vessel in early September did not appear to have radio or other communications devices, the top military official overseeing the strike told lawmakers on Thursday, according to two sources with direct knowledge of his congressional briefings.
