Although we’re expecting snowsqualls to wind down on Friday afternoon, it’s going to be bitterly cold out there today.
“It'll be cold heading at the door,” warned CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison. “The forecast high [is] just minus seven, and we will see a nice mix of sun and cloud as we carry into the afternoon.”
If you found that the wind made your Thursday bitterly cold, there is relief in sight – winds will be easing off on Friday.
“A major rebound Saturday sunshine all the way up to the freezing mark and rain in the forecast on Sunday, not snowfall,” said Atchison.
That light rain is likely going to hang out into the beginning of next week, “This low pressure area is coming in from the southern plains,” said Atchison. “So significant melting going on as we head into early next week.”
Plan your weekend accordingly – with milder weather, and lots of rain to keep you busy with holiday preparations inside.
