Sister Lucy ends hunger strike after police intervention in alleged harassment by church

Sister Lucy Kalappura has called off her hunker strike after the local police intervened in the matter of her alleged harassment by a Wayanad church.

Sister Lucy Kalappura who has been protesting the alleged harassment by a Wayanad church has finally called off her hunger strike after the local police intervened in the matter and helped restore her internet connection in the corridor. Sister Lucy had alleged that her life was made difficult inside the convent. She said for the last year she was not given food inside the convent and had bought an induction cooker to cook once a day.
