
SIS student sweeps ‘Speak Up Qatar’ contest

Doha: Sneha Tom of Shantiniketan Indian School – Doha, shined in the ‘Speak Up Qatar’ contest organised by Gulf Madhyamam recently. She secured the first place in the English Senior Category and the second place in the Malayalam Senior category showing her eloquence in public speaking.
The event organised live on virtual Zoom and Facebook, witnessed five hundred participants contesting. Sneha was adjudicated as winner by an elite panel of jurists comprising APM Mohammad Hanish IAS, Principal Secretary; Dr. Sebastian Paul, former MP; KEN Kunhahammed, writer activist and Dr. Yaseen Ashraf, Associate Editor Madhyamam. Twenty-four students from different Indian schools in Qatar fought neck to neck displaying exemplary public speaking skills in the ‘Speak Up Qatar Contest‘.More Related News
