Shruti Haasan says her parents Kamal Haasan and Sarika were happier separated than living together

Shruti Haasan, during a recent interview with Zoom Digital, revealed how her parents’ divorce was a good thing as the two were not happy together. The Krack actress, who is closer to her dad Kamal Haasan, spoke about them being wonderful parents who didn’t get along and how it all panned out for the best. Kamal Haasan and Sarika tied the knot in 1988 and went their separate ways in 2004. They are parents to two daughters, Shruti and Akshara. On Monday, Shruti Haasan spoke about her parents' divorce during an interview. She said, “I was glad they separated, as I do not think two people who are not getting along should be forced to get along for some reason. They continue to be wonderful parents.”
