Shop Qatar 2021 announces winners of first raffle draw

Doha: The first of Shop Qatar2021’s four digital raffle draws, was held at Doha Festival City on Friday 17 September.  56 winners won two Genesis cars, over QR 300,000 in cash prizes, as well as 10 prizes of PlayStation 5 and 27 gift vouchers. The raffle draws are being conducted digitally this year, for the first time ever, and are in accordance with guidelines by the Ministry of Public Health.  To participate in the raffle draw, shoppers submit details and store receipts through a contact-less process on WhatsApp. Winners are selected randomly through a digital process. Doha Festival City General Manager, Robert Hall, said: “We are delighted to once again collaborate with Qatar Tourism and celebrate Shop Qatar, a celebratory platform that places Doha as a key destination for shopping and tourism in the region.
