"Shocked, Hurt": Actor Prakash Raj On Kannada Superstar Declaring Support For BJP

Kichcha Sudeep yesterday declared his support for the BJP and said he will campaign for the party, but not contest the Karnataka assembly elections.

Actor Prakash Raj yesterday expressed shock on Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeep extending support to the BJP ahead of the Karnataka state elections.

Mr Sudeep on Wednesday declared his support for the BJP and said he will campaign for the party, but not contest the assembly elections.

"I am shocked and hurt by Kichha Sudeep's statement," news agency ANI quoted Mr Raj as saying.

The veteran actor, who had been vocal on social and political issues and frequently attacked the Narendra Modi government, had earlier dismissed reports of Mr Sudeep joining the BJP.
