Shaheed Diwas celebrated by Ramesh Pokhriyal at DU

Shaheed Diwas is celebrated every year on March 23 to give tribute to freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru who were executed by the British government.

Shaheed Diwas was celebrated Tuesday on March 23, 2021, by Delhi University in order to pay tribute to freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. who were executed by the British government for killing British police officer J P Saunders. The trio wanted to avenge the death of freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal paid homage to Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru were executed by the British government.
