After being suspended for a month from the US Olympic team, track star Sha'Carri Richardson tweeted Sunday morning that she will be "your World Champ next year."
"I'm sorry, I can't be y'all Olympic Champ this year but I promise I'll be your World Champ next year," Richardson tweeted, followed by crossed fingers and high voltage emojis. Richardson was suspended after testing positive for THC, a chemical found in marijuana, the US Anti-Doping Agency said on Friday.
