Sexton blasts 'unserious' Biden reportedly demoting qualified Black ATF director in favor of political parity
Fox News
President Biden's reported planned demotion of acting Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Director Marvin Richardson is all about midterm politics, former CIA analyst Buck Sexton told Fox News.
Despite his 30 years with the ATF, Richardson soured White House sentiment when he appeared at a gun trade show earlier in 2022, she added.
In that regard, Richardson is being demoted to deputy director as Ohio prosecutor Steven Dettelbach's confirmation to the permanent role winds through the Senate.
