A statement on Wednesday from Himachal Pradesh chief minister Jairam Thakur’s office said “about 60 people are feared to be buried under the debris”. Those that are still trapped include passengers that are inside a bus stuck under the debris, Vivek Kumar Pandey, a spokesman for the paramilitary Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), told the Reuters news agency.
