Service on Line 6 shuttered between Finch West, Tobermory stations for switch issues

Morning commuters taking Line 6 will have to plan ahead for rush hour due to a partial service shut down on Friday.
Service between Tobermory and Finch West Stations shuttered around 4:15 a.m. due to switch issues, said the TTC on social media.
One shuttle train and shuttle buses are running between the stations, it said.
The issues come as the same stretch of Line 6 was shut for nearly four hours since 8:49 p.m. on Thursday night due to signal problems between the same stations.
Metrolinx said in an emailed statement that it's not certain when the switch issue will be fixed, but that people should watch for updates by the TTC on social media.
The Finch West LRT line experienced 350 delays in its first month of service, according to city data.
CBC has reached out to the TTC for comment.
