Senior journalist and writer B. Thirumalai, recently won an award for his book ‘Ellorum Nalame’ at the 40th anniversary celebrations of Karur Thirukural Peravai. Outstanding works of various writers were honoured at the event held in Karur on January 25.
The winners were felicitated and consolation prizes were also awarded at the event.
During the event, Mr. Thirumalai urged the authorities to name the National Highway connecting Kanniyakumari and Chennai as Kural Vazhi Salai.
