Sedition case: YSRCP MP's son writes to PM Modi over father's custodial assault

Bharat Raghuram, son of YSRCP MP Raghu Ramkrishna Raju who was arrested on sedition charges, has written to PM Modi alleging custodial assault on his father by Andhra Police CID officials.

A day after YSR Congress Party MP Raghu Ramkrishna Raju's arrest on sedition charges, his son has shot off a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla alleging custodial assault by Andhra Police CID officials. Raghu Ramkrishna Raju's son, Bharat Raghuram, has alleged custodial torture, attempt to murder and has demanded action against the CID officials. The MP's son has also written to Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla on the same.
