School students with Covid-like symptoms for more than 2 days to be tested: BBMP chief commissioner

Schools in Bengaluru have been asked to identify nodal officers and check for students having Covid-like symptoms for more than two days and get them tested, BBMP chief commissioner Gaurav Gupta said.

Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) chief commissioner Gaurav Gupta has directed all schools to identify nodal authorities and ask them to check for children with Covid-like symptoms persisting for more than two days and get them tested.

Gupta was speaking at a meeting with paediatric and technical expert committee members about appropriate steps to be taken towards containing Covid-19 in BBMP limits.
