A bystander, Chantel Craig, told Global News she saw children being treated and loaded into ambulances, while the Major Incident Response Vehicle take more children from the scene.
The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority has confirmed the Health Sciences Centre is in Code Orange in response to the incident, which is put into effect for a potential influx of patients due to an external disaster.
