Scattered rain in many parts of Qatar, likely to intensify: QMD

Doha: Scattered rain of varying intensity, which may be thundery in some areas accompanied by sudden strong wind and blowing dust sometimes, were observed in the northern parts of Qatar in the morning, Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) said.

Most parts of Doha witnessed strong wind and cloudy skies from morning. Light rain was  “Partly cloudy to cloudy at times with chances of scattered rain which may be thundery sometimes. The winds are Southeasterly to Northeasterly reaching strong speed with thundery rain, please be careful Qatar,” QMD tweeted.
