The Supreme Court has rejected the plea filed by MD students who were seeking the postponement of their final year exams due to the current pandemic situation. The court refused to pass the orders for the postponement of the exams for postgraduate medical courses. The Supreme Court further said that the order to postpone the exams cannot be passed as each university across the state sets its own schedule for the exams. Due to this, no general order can be passed by the court, the SC bench said. He further said that the National Medical Council should give them ample time to prepare for the exams. To this, the Supreme Court bench replied that the concept of reasonable time, in this case, is completely subjective, and thus, no time frame can be fixed.More Related News
