In an exclusive interview with India Today, the NCB's independent witness Prabhakar Sail has detailed the timeline of the alleged bid to extort Shah Rukh Khan for the release of his son Aryan Khan in the cruise drugs case.
Prabhakar Sail, the Narcotics Control Bureau’s independent witness, has claimed that his boss Kiran Gosavi had contacted the anti-drugs agency’s zonal director Sameer Wankhede to discuss an alleged attempt to extort actor Shah Rukh Khan for the release of his son Aryan Khan in the cruise drugs case.
Speaking exclusively to India Today TV, Sail claimed that Gosavi had called Sam D’Souza and asked him to demand Rs 25 crore and settle for Rs 18 crore, of which Rs 8 crore was to be paid to Sameer Wankhede and the rest would be split amongst themselves.
