“TODAY” co-anchor Savannah Guthrie visited the NBC morning show’s set Thursday as the investigation into her 84-year-old mother’s disappearance stretched into a 32nd day.
“Savannah Guthrie stopped by the studio this morning to be with and thank her ‘TODAY’ colleagues,” a “TODAY” spokesperson said in a statement.
“While she plans to return to the show on air, she remains focused right now supporting her family and working to help bring Nancy home,” the spokesperson added.
Guthrie was reported missing Feb. 1 after she didn’t show up at a friend’s home in Tucson, Arizona, to watch an online church service. She was last seen the previous night around 9:45 p.m. after having dinner at her daughter Annie Guthrie’s home.
Authorities have described the case as a possible kidnapping or abduction, but clues have been scarce.
