Sasikumar’s next to be helmed by Velraj

Velraj had previously shot the Sasikumar-starrer ‘Udanpirappe’ in 2021
Cinematographer Velraj, who also directed the Dhanush-starrers Velaiyilla Pattathari and Thanga Magan, will next direct Sasikumar in a new project. The yet-to-be-titled film will be produced by JSB Sathish’s JSB film Studios which has earlier bankrolled projects like Merlin, Asuraguru, Singappenney and GST.
Known for being the cinematographer for some of Dhanush’s biggest hits like Polladhavan, Aadukalam, Vada Chennai and Asuran, Velraj also shot Dhanush’s directorial debut Power Paandi. Interestingly, Velraj had also shot the Sasikumar-starrer Udanpirappein 2021. More details about their latest collaboration is expected soon.
Velraj is currently working on director Vetrimaaran’s Viduthalai Part 2. Sasikumar, on the other hand, has films like Pagaivanuku Arulvai, Naa Naa, Evidence and Nandhan in different stages of production.
