International sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo paid homage to Lata Mangeshkar on Sunday. He created a portrait of the legendary singer in his sand animation.
Sahoo made the sand animation with an engraved message, "Legendary Lata Mangeshkar will always live in our hearts". It took Manas Sahoo about three hours to create this sand animation.
Talking to India Today, Manas Sahoo said, “The whole world is saddened by her death. It is an irreplaceable loss for our country”.
Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik condoled the demise of the legendary singer and tweeted, “Deeply saddened to know about the passing away of legendary singer #LataMangeshkar. The 'Melody Queen of India' leaves a void in our collective consciousness. She will live through her melody for eternity. My thoughts & prayers are with the bereaved family & her countless fans”.
