Russia reduces sentence for American Robert Woodland, who was convicted on drug charges
Fox News
A Russian court reduced the sentence of detained American Robert Woodland, who has been held since last year, a report said.
It’s unclear why Woodland’s sentence was shortened. The State Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital. Greg Norman is a reporter at Fox News Digital.
Woodland was found guilty last July of attempting to sell drugs after he was arrested and found to be in possession of 50 grams of mephedrone, Reuters reported, citing prosecutors.
