In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Rubina Dilaik talks about her initial days spent in Mumbai. She also opens about struggles and challenges faced in the city.

After making a mark for herself on TV, actress Rubina Dilaik is all set to make her Bollywood debut. The actress will be seen in a film titled Ardh, in which she is paired opposite Rajpal Yadav. Ardh is about the story of a dreamer in the city of dreams, Mumbai. It is a city where millions of people come from different places to fulfill their dreams. And Rubina's story is no different. Like most people, Rubina faced challenges in her initial days in Mumbai. The actress hails from a small town in Himachal Pradesh.

Before Rubina made her acting debut with Chhoti Bahu, the actress faced challenges and struggled because she came from a small town. Going down memory lane, Rubina recalled her initial days in the city of dreams, Mumbai.

"When I came to Mumbai, the initial few months went into adjusting myself in this city. It took some time for me to understand the industry. Industry ke tor-tarike sikhne mein time lag gaya. Then later, it took me some time to understand the mannerisms when I went on the sets of the show," said Rubina.

The actress further added, "There have been a lot of struggles and challenges because I come from a small town where industry ki baat toh chodo, zikar bhi nahi hua karta tha. The struggle was and is there. Through this film, we feel like even we have struggled, but the passion is so fierce and lively."

Talking about her film Ardh, Rubina's Bollywood film will have a digital release on June 10 on ZEE5. The actress recently jetted off to Cape Town (South Africa) for the shoot of Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. This season, Rubina will be seen alongside Sriti Jha, Faisu, Jannat Zubair, Shivangi Joshi, Pratik Sehajpal, Nishant Bhat, Rajiv Adatia and a few more celebrities.
