Rs 50,000 Compensation For Covid Deaths: Centre Tells Supreme Court

The families of those who die of Covid will receive Rs 50,000 ex gratia, The Central government informed the Supreme Court today. Significantly, compensation will be paid against not only the deaths that have already occurred but for future ones, too, the court was told.
