Robin Williams' son Zak has shared details about his late father, opening up about the actors' mental health struggles. Zak sat down for an interview with "The Genius Life" podcast on Wednesday, his dad's birthday.
Both Zak and the host of the podcast, Max Lugavere, lost a parent to Lewy body disease, a rare disease with symptoms that resemble Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. Williams died by suicide in 2014 at 63 years old. He had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, but an autopsy showed he had Lewy body disease.More Related News
