"Extremism and Naxalism have started spreading its tentacles in the state, and freedom is also being granted to loot mineral reserves," Union Minister for Heavy Industries Mahendra Nath Pandey said on Thursday.
Union Minister for Heavy Industries Mahendra Nath Pandey has expressed concern over a "spurt" in Maoist activities and "loot" of mineral reserves in Jharkhand.
He also said development and good governance established by the previous BJP government in the state has been "shattered" by the present dispensation.
"Extremism and Naxalism have started spreading its tentacles in the state, and freedom is also being granted to loot mineral reserves," Mr Pandey said on Thursday, without elaborating further.
Opposition parties including the Congress, were oriented around the politics of alliance and compromise, whereas the Narendra Modi government has been delivering on the expectations and aspirations of people, he asserted.
