Republican congressmen call for Blinken impeachment: 'He took an oath and he failed'
Fox News
GOP congressmen Andy Harris and Ralph Norman joined "The Ingraham Angle" to discuss their articles of impeachment against Secretary of State Blinken for the "unmitigated catastrophe" in Afghanistan.
Harris told Fox News' "Ingraham Angle" on Friday that there is a bipartisan sentiment that the Biden administration "botched" the Afghanistan withdrawal – and that most Americans should be informed that the State Department, not the Pentagon, was truly in charge of the effort. "Very few things that we do on a bipartisan basis in Washington. We on a bipartisan basis agree this … withdrawal is a catastrophe," Harris told host Pete Hegseth. "[The State Department] were the ones who didn't know where our Americans were. They were the ones who didn't have plans to evacuate everyone. They were the ones who allowed some of the military to leave before we evacuated our Americans. This first and foremost falls squarely on the secretary who headed the department that was in charge of this withdrawal," he said.More Related News
