
Regal theaters will get to show Warner Bros movies before they stream

Cineworld Group has some big news for movie buffs: Its theaters will get to screen Warner Bros. movies again before they stream, starting next year.
The world's second largest cinema operator said Tuesday that it has signed a multi-year deal to screen the studio's movies in the United States for 45 days before they are released for streaming. In the United Kingdom, Cineworld has agreed a 31-day window of theatrical exclusivity, with an option to extend that to 45 days in some cases. "This agreement shows the studio's commitment to the theatrical business," Cineworld CEO Mooky Greidinger said.
