Recovering from Covid, Mizoram minister R Lalzirliana mops hospital floor, says everybody is equal

Mizoram Power Minister R Lalzirliana was on Friday captured in a video mopping the floors of a hospital where he is undergoing treatment for Covid-19 along with his wife and son. While speaking to India Today TV, Lalzirliana said that there are no VIPs or laymen at this time and everybody is equal. "I was admitted to Zoram Medical College after I tested positive for Covid-19 on May 12. Due to the care of doctors and nurses here, I began to show signs of improvement in a few days. Though there are still some symptoms, I gradually became active. All the doctors, nurses and hospital staff of ZMC have tirelessly worked day and night putting their own lives at great risk to take care of people,” Lalzirliana told India Today TV.
