RCMP arrest man in connection with Cole Harbour search

Nova Scotia RCMP have arrested a man in connection with a search in Cole Harbour Thursday night and say the public is no longer at risk.
Police sent the update in an emergency alert at 9:45 p.m.
In a Facebook post, police said the man was taken into custody in the area of Greenborough Crescent and Bissett Lake. He was taken to hospital by EHS.
Earlier Thursday night, police sent an emergency alert that the were looking for a man armed with a knife in Cole Harbour.
Cindy Bayers, a spokesperson for the RCMP, said police were called to a home in that area to look for a man "who is believed to have harmed himself with a knife and then fled a residence."
