RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das says that the impact of the second wave of COVID-19 has waned by August, and economic growth will be better from the second quarter onwards on a sequential basis.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das on Thursday said many fast indicators are showing an uptick in economic activity and the Reserve Bank is quite optimistic about its 9.5 per cent GDP growth estimate for financial year 2021-22 at present. He said the impact of the second wave of COVID-19 has waned by August, and economic growth will be better from the second quarter onwards on a sequential basis.More Related News
