Randhawa conducts late-night surprise checks of police nakas near Indo-Pak border in Amritsar

Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said, "BSF should be kept at the border only and the rest of the areas should be left to the Punjab Police to maintain law & order."

Randhawa, who also holds the home department portfolio, late on Friday night conducted checks of the Punjab Police 'nakas' at Jagdev Khurd in Ajnala, Amritsar, they said. He also conducted a check of the 'nakas' in Gagomahal.
