Shriya Pilgaonkar is elated about her upcoming trilingual film Haathi Mere Saathi with Rana Daggubati. Directed by Prabu Solomon, the film will release in Telugu as Aranya and Kaadan in Tamil in theatres on March 26. However, the film’s Hindi version has been postponed due to increasing Covid-19 cases. Haathi Mere Saathi tells the story of a jungle man fighting against deforestation and trying to save elephants. In an exclusive conversation with IndiaToday.in, Shriya Pilgaonkar opens up about the challenges of shooting Haathi Mere Saathi in dense forests, her experience of working with Rana Daggubati and upholding the legacy of her actor parents Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar.
