Rajnath Singh inaugurated 12 border roads and said they hold "strategic and socio-economic importance" as they will strengthen national security as well as promote development of the Northeastern states.
Enhancing road infrastructure is key to ensuring connectivity in border areas of Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh, said Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday while inaugurating 12 border roads.
