Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of a university in Aligarh named after Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh. This comes at a time when Uttar Pradesh is heading to assembly polls and the BJP is battling protests over farm laws, also involving Jat farmers.
A new university will come up in Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh, famous for housing the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), where Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh studied. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the university, named after Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had, in 2019, announced to set up a state-level university to honour Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh.More Related News
