Rahul Gandhi and several other Congress leaders are likely to skip the winter session of Parliament, sources said.

There is a crucial meeting of the party scheduled for 4pm today, in which a decision is likely to be taken on the Leader of the Opposition (LOP).

Mallikarjun Kharge, the current LOP, is now the party's national president as well and Congress will have to decide on whether he will be allowed to continue in his role as LOP in view of the party's one-man-one-post policy.
