Raghu Shastry’s ‘Takkar’ starring Darshan’s nephew Manoj is ready for release!

The title, teaser and poster of the film have already created much curiosity and big personalities like Challenging Star Darshan have expressed appreciation for the film after watching the teaser.

Young director Raghu Shastry has been creating a buzz ever since he directed Vinay Rajkumar in ‘Run Anthony’. This time, Raghu is all set to direct ‘Takkar’, an action film that stars Darshan’s nephew Manoj. Like the title suggests, ‘Takkar’ is an action-oriented film and focuses on cyber crime. The title, teaser and poster of the film have already created much curiosity and big personalities like Challenging Star Darshan have expressed appreciation for the film after watching the teaser. ‘Takkar’ was all set to release in March 2020, but owing to the pandemic, the movie had to be pushed for release this year. It has been shot in Bengaluru, Mysuru and Malaysia in three schedules and some stunning locations have been captured on screen. Ranjani Raghavan of Kannadathi fame plays Manoj’s leading lady. Saurav Lokesh, Sumithra, Sridhar, Jai Jagadeesh, Shankar Ashwath and Sadhu Kokila also star in the film. William David is the DOP, Manikanth Kadri is the music director and K M Prakash has edited the film. ‘Takkar’ has been made under SLN Creations and been produced by K N Nagesh Kogilu, who had previously made ‘Huliraya’. The team is looking forward to its upcoming release.
