Raducanu's US Open triumph among greatest achievements in women's sport: Thiem

Emma Raducanu's U.S. Open victory is among the "greatest achievements" in women's sport, men's world number eight Dominic Thiem said.

The 18-year-old Briton stunned the sports world by beating fellow teenager Leylah Fernandez to become the first qualifier to win a Grand Slam title. Raducanu also became the first British woman to win a Grand Slam singles title for 44 years. "For me, it's one of the greatest achievements ever in women's sports," Thiem told Omnisport on Monday.
