Queen Elizabeth II expressed thanks on her 95th birthday for the well wishes she's received around the world following the death of her husband, Prince Philip.
In her statement, released by the royal family's official Twitter account, the queen notes the period of sadness the British royal family members are in at this time. "I have, on the occasion of my 95th birthday today, received many messages of good wishes, which I very much appreciate.
