One of Canada’s most famous cold cases was solved after police used DNA to link convicted West Virginia rapist Franklin Romine to the murder and rape of 16-year-old Sharron Prior.
Prior was just 16 years old when she was abducted and raped after setting out to meet friends at a pizza parlor near her home in Montreal’s Pointe-St-Charles neighborhood. Greg Wehner is a breaking news reporter for Fox News Digital.
She went missing on March 29, 1975, and found dead four days later.
