QSL CEO receives FIFPro delegation

The delegation included FIFPro General Secretary Jonas Baer-Hoffmann, Deputy General Secretary Simon Colosimo, Director of Communications Alejandro Varsky, and Policy Advisor and Strategic Project Co-ordinator Erica Puppo.

Hani Taleb Ballan, CEO of the Qatar Stars League (QSL), received a delegation from the International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPro) at the league headquarters in the Al Bidda Tower. The delegation included FIFPro General Secretary Jonas Baer-Hoffmann, Deputy General Secretary Simon Colosimo, Director of Communications Alejandro Varsky, and Policy Advisor and Strategic Project Co-ordinator Erica Puppo. On his part, Ballan welcomed the FIFPro delegation’s visit to the QSL and praised the role it plays as far as professional players are concerned, especially in this tough phase that football is passing through in the wake of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, which has adversely affected sports and football. During the meeting, they discussed football and the great developments the game has witnessed over the past years, the tournaments, events and sports events organized by the QSL, in addition to the possibility of exchanging experience as well as expertise and aspects related to football and players, and ways for improvement.
