Doha: With funding from Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) and Lebanon’s Ministry of Social Affairs have launched phase 2 of the “Road to Stability”, an initiative aimed at supporting the poorest Lebanese families affected by the recent war on Lebanon.

The overall purpose of the project is to enhance the financial stability of the most vulnerable Lebanese and Syrian families in Lebanon. Earlier, phase 1 had been completed for the benefit of Syrian refugee families in Lebanon, in collaboration with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

This newly launched phase, which focuses on the affected Lebanese families, is funded by QFFD and implemented in partnership with Lebanon’s Ministry of Social Affairs.

The launch of phase 2 was held under the patronage of Ambassador of Qatar to Lebanon H E Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
