Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Press Center (QPC) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Middle East Council on Global Affairs to strengthen collaboration between media and research institutions in Qatar and the wider Arab region.
The partnership aims to advance media and research work, organise scientific, cultural, and knowledge-based events, and promote the exchange of expertise and information on topics of mutual interest.
The agreement was signed at the Center’s headquarters by Director General of Qatar Press Center Sadiq Al-Amari and Executive Director of the Middle East Council on Global Affairs Khalid Al-Jaber.
On this occasion, the Director General of the Qatar Press Center stated that the primary objective of the agreement is to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two parties across multiple fields. This includes organising scientific, cultural, and knowledge-driven events, as well as hosting seminars and specialized workshops related to media and research.
He added that the agreement also provides for the preparation of joint publications and the exchange of existing publications to broaden outreach and strengthen intellectual dialogue. It further seeks to facilitate the exchange of expertise among researchers, journalists, and the local community.
