HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmad Al Thani, President, Qatar Football Association, received in his office on Saturday Mahmoud El Khatib, President of Egyptian club Al Ahly, who won the Total CAF Super Cup 2020 defeating RS Berkane of Morocco 2-0 at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Friday. QFA President congratulated Al Khatib and Al Ahly Club on winning another trophy. It was the 7th African Super Cup win for the famous Egyptian side. The QFA President praised Al Ahly’s performance and the spirit of the club’s players. For his part, Al Khatib thanked the QFA for the warm reception and generous hospitality throughout the team’s stay in Doha. He appreciated the interest and cooperation extended to his club’s contingent from the moment of their arrival in Doha last Tuesday. (QNA)
