Qatar University ranks 224 globally

Doha: Qatar University (QU) has ranked 224 globally, according to the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Ranking 2022; achieving an increase of 21 places over last year's version, to be on the verge of entering the list of the top 200 universities in the world.

The QS World University Rankings are compiled using six simple metrics. These six metrics include Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Faculty/Student Ratio, Citations per faculty, International Faculty Ratio and International Student Ratio. According to the survey conducted by classifiers in its latest version, QU's results for this year show a noticeable increase in the following indicators: academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per faculty, confirming QU's international standing, the diversity of the campus environment, and the global impact of the university's research.
